How long will the course take me?

This course will take you roughly 60 hours to complete. This includes videos, written materials, discussions, activities, study time, and live events and workshops. 

Most of our students dedicate 1-2 hours per week to study around work and other commitments. 
At the beginning of your course, we'll provide a tailored study plan to guide you through the material at a pace that suits your schedule, whether you aim to complete the course in 3, 6, or 12 months. All live events and workshops are recorded and uploaded to the learning platform for later viewing.

    In this activity, you will create a mood board for a real or hypothetical landscape design project, allowing you to explore and visualise different design styles and aesthetics.
  • Activity: Create a Mud Map
    In this activity, you'll put your creativity to the test by creating a 'mud map' of a garden design. This hands-on activity encourages you to experiment with layout and features, offering a practical exercise in transforming your ideas into a visual representation.
  • Activity: Concept Presentation
    Bringing together all that you've learned, you'll develop a comprehensive design concept. This final project will showcase your ability to apply landscape and garden design principles, creating a cohesive and functional outdoor space that reflects your design skills and creativity.

What do I need to complete this course?

To complete a course with us, you'll need:

  • A laptop or PC with a strong internet connection (to connect to live events and to download and upload files required for course activities)
  • General computer skills such as creating, saving and editing Google and Microsoft Office documents, downloading and uploading files to websites, and participating in online discussion boards
