How long will this course take me?

This course will take you roughly 60-80 hours to complete. This includes video content, reading materials, activities and projects, study time, and regular live events.

Our courses are self-paced, which means that you can complete the course as fast or as slowly as you like. Our students often dedicate 1-2 hours per week to study around work and other commitments.

You will have a full 12 months of access to your course from the date of your enrolment.

Where will this course take me?

This course is designed and delivered by practising industry professionals, which means that you'll learn the most up-to-date and in-demand skills possible - without the time and cost commitments of a Uni or TAFE program.

Once completed, you might use this course as a stepping stone to further study or to dive straight into the industry!

At the end of your course, you'll receive a Certificate of Completion and Digital Badge to share on your resume, website and LinkedIn.

What do I need to complete this course?

To complete a course with us, you'll require:

  • A laptop or PC with a strong internet connection (to connect to live events and to download and upload files required for course activities)
  • General computer skills such as creating, saving and editing Google and Microsoft Office documents, downloading and uploading files to websites, and participating in online discussion boards.

Note: You must be at least 16 to enrol in a course with us. For those under 18, you must provide written or over-the-phone permission from your parent or guardian.

How will I interact with my mentor?

During your studies, you'll be mentored by Tui Myers, a practising veterinary nurse.

Tui is an amazing source of information and advice. She will host regular live events and workshops and provide feedback on the work you submit for course activities and projects. You'll also be able to connect with her through discussion forums on the platform.

At the end of the course, you'll have the opportunity to book a dedicated 1:1 session with your mentor to discuss your learnings from the course, ask any final questions, and receive advice for your future in the industry.
