The Ins and Outs of Emotions and Attitudes

Emotions are often difficult to explain. They are a product of our state of mind, mood, circumstances and relationships. This course looks at how emotions and attitudes are constructed by physiological, cognitive and behavioural components. You will learn Heider’s Balance theory, the assimilation and contrast theory, and accentuation theory as well as practical advice for an adolescent crisis. If you’re new to psychology or just want to add a bit more to your repertoire, this is a short course designed for you.
